FAQ
What is the guest limit? 60 guests
On the boat, it is for the bridal party only. ( Bride, Groom, & attendants)
How do I reserve a date:? A payment of $1000 is required to reserve your wedding day and book your event. Balance due 10 days prior to the event.
Who does the setup and clean up? Staff will be provided for table and chair setup and breakdown as well as clean up after the ceremony.
Are there changing areas for the bride, groom, and/or wedding party onboard? Or should we arrive fully dressed and ready to go?
We suggest that the wedding party and groom come fully dressed. The bride needs to come with hair and make-up finished but may slip her dress on in the galley.
What is the dress code/appropriate attire?
Let your guests know on a wedding website to highlight additional details about the day.
Include a suggested dress code that can stand up to the wind and water (e.g., “nautical attire”), along with a note about the anticipated weather. Depending on the forecast, suggest bringing sunglasses or sunblock, and remind guests that they may need a sweater or coat. You should also give your women attendees a heads-up about the vessel itself such as an inclined ramp so they can opt for rubber sole wedges or flats instead of stilettos!
Can we do a rehearsal on the boat before the wedding day?
A rehearsal on the boat is not available. If you need a rehearsal with the officiate you may want to do one at a private location. If you are doing a rehearsal dinner at the marina, you may certainly have a rehearsal there as well.
Will we have exclusive use of the boat during our party? Yes
Can my event last longer than the scheduled cruise time? Additional hours available for rate of $250 per hour
Does the boat follow a particular cruise route, or does it stay docked? Depending on the package that you choose, the boat will go under the lighted downtown bridges for fabulous pictures.
What happens if there’s inclement weather? If you have your heart set on an open-air wedding, we know you don’t want to stand out in the rain on your wedding day. But with a wedding on the water, you must be ready for inclement weather! Discuss with your coordinator about a “rain plan” interior space—just in case.
Can we bring in our own décor? Yes, but we do have preferred vendors.
Can we use our own caterer/cake maker/DJ? Yes, but we do have preferred vendors
What happens if a guest needs to leave early?
The marina gate is always open during an event so guests may come and go as needed.
Will my mobile phone work on the water? Yes, not a problem
Is there heating and/or air conditioning on the boat? Yes, the galley is cooled and heated.
Are ample life preservers on board? Absolutely!
